If you don’t want to go the DIY route then Jon’s Ski Tuning is pleased to offer you various specifications of hand tuning as follows: 

#1 TUNE - £20.00: Sharpen edges to existing angles, polish & deburr. Brass brush to clean structure, hot wax with Dominator Zoom Lime universal wax, cool & scrape, polish with brass, horsehair & nylon brushes.

#2 TUNE - £25.00: Sharpen edges to existing angles, polish & deburr. Hot wax / scrape base to clean, brass brush to open structure, hot wax with Dominator Zoom Lime universal wax, cool & scrape, polish with brass, horsehair & nylon brushes.

#3 TUNE - £30.00: Sharpen edges to existing angles, polish & deburr. Hot wax / scrape base to clean, brass brush to open structure, hot wax with Dominator Zoom Base Renew base prep wax, cool & scrape, brass brush, hot wax with Dominator Zoom Lime universal wax, cool & scrape, polish with brass, horsehair & nylon brushes.

#4 TUNE - £50.00: Stone grind bases. Reset edges to factory or specified angles, polish & deburr. Brass brush & three grades of fiberpads passes to open & smooth structure. Hot wax / scrape base to clean, brass brush & three grades of fiberpad passes to open & smooth structure, hot wax with Dominator Zoom Base Renew wax, cool & scrape, brass brush, hot wax with Dominator Zoom Lime universal wax, cool & scrape, polish with brass, horsehair & nylon brushes.  

EOS TUNE - £15.00: End of season tune. Sharpen edges to existing angles, polish & deburr. Hot wax / scrape base to clean, apply storage wax to base & edges. 

PS TUNE - £10.00: Pre-season tune on EOS tuned skis. Scrape base to clean, brass brush to open structure, hot wax with Dominator Zoom Lime universal wax, cool & scrape, polish with brass, horsehair & nylon brushes. 

NS TUNE - £20.00: New ski base prep only. Hot wax / scrape base to clean, brass brush to open the structure, hot wax with Dominator Zoom Base Prep wax, cool & scrape, brass brush, hot wax with Dominator Zoom Lime universal wax, cool & scrape, polish with brass, horsehair & nylon brushes. 

HOT BOX BASE PREP (Only) - £20.00: Hot wax / scrape base to clean, brass brush to open the structure, hot wax with either Dominator Zoom wax (either Base Renew or Lime universal), hot box, cool & scrape, steel brush (Base Renew), polish with brass, horsehair & nylon brushes. 


HOT BOX BASE PREP (As part of either #3, #4 or NS tunes) + £10.00 on the respective tune price.

SIDEWALL REMOVAL:  £ 7.00

P-TEX REPAIRS:  Price on inspection                         

CORE SHOT REPAIRS:  Price on inspection 

RESET EXISTING SIDE EDGE ANGLE:  £ 7.00 Choice of either 1, 2
or 3 degrees. Existing angle can either be increased or decreased. 

RESET EXISTING BASE EDGE ANGLE: £ 7.00 Choice of 0.5, 0.7 or 1.0 degree. Note: The base edge angles can only be increased. To reduce the base edge angle a stone grind is first required.
