The FR (Freeride) is High Society's flagship model & is now in it's 5th season. Each season it has been improved & innovated & this year is no exception. The topsheet is stronger, the bases are faster & the core is lighter & stronger.
The FR is supplied 'in the flat' so you can mounted your preferred binding. The FR is a handcrafted high performance all mountain weapon. Designed to be the ultimate twintip freeride ski, it effortlessly transitions from one part of the mountain to another, no matter the snow conditions. For a superb off-piste & park ski the FR performs extremely well on-piste as it's high level of torsional stifness gives it very good hard snow edge hold which allows the ski to rip up GS medium to large radius carves. It also makes a superb touring or telemark ski. And check-out those cool dark graphics. Features: Poplar wood core Carbon fibre stringer ABS reinforced sidewall Resin saturated tri-axle fiberglass make-up Screw retention system Die cut sintered 4000 grade p-tex base 360 Rockwell 48C edges Rubber foil damping system High Society flex rating of 8 Freeride & Powder mounting points 1 year warranty Sizes: 171cm length: 116/82/110 sidecut, 17.8m radius, running surface 1410mm, weight 1.50kg per ski. 179cm length: 124/92/114 sidecut, 21.7m radius, running surface 1530mm, weight 1.66kg per ski. 187cm length: 136/104/126 sidecut, 23.7mradius, running surface 1590mm, weight 1.85kg per ski.
